CINiBA selected under 34 works shortlisted for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award 2013. The winners were chosen from 335 submitted works in 37 European countries. The other shortlisted project from Poland is Integrated train and tram stop Wroclaw by MACKOW PRACOWNIA PROJEKTOWA. Works nominated for the Prize are put forward by independent experts from all over Europe, as well as by the member associations of the Architects’ Council of Europe, national architects’ associations, and the Advisory Committee for the Prize. The new issue of “Modern Decoration” 2/2013 (273), a China based magazine dedicated to culture, art and design, features an 8 page article about the Academic Library in Katowice. CINiBA was presented among other library projects from all over the world in Library Design Series of the magazine.

The Walbrzych Cultural Center is conceived of as a linking element that aims to stitch together Walbrzych’s historic district. Among other things, the programming consists of the headquarters of the Sudetan Philharmonic Orchestra and two concert halls: a 600 seat main hall and a 200 seat chamber hall.

Out of 1,064 entries CINiBA was deemed the best building built in Poland between 2000-2012 in the 7th edition of the “Life in Architecture” Award organized by leading Polish architectural magazine “Architektura Murator”. Exhibition Polen Architektur started in Ringturm,Vienna. Hs99 is represented with two projects: Underground Sacristy and H9, both located in Koszalin. The presentation of polish architecture of the last century will end on 09.01.2009.
H8 – a house near Warsaw by hs99 has been published in the latest edition of the Phaidon Atlas of 21st Century World Architecture. Other polish offices presented in the publication are; KWK Promes, JEMS Architekci, Atelier Loegler, DDJM Biuro Architektoniczne, Medusa group, nsMoonStudio.
